bio
Born and raised in Holland, Michigan, Liz learned the value of hard work early on while helping at her father’s lumber yard starting in the 5th grade. She went on to study Graphic Design, Marketing/Advertising, and Broadcast Journalism at Columbia College Chicago, where she built a strong foundation in creativity, marketing, and communication.
After graduation, she launched her career in Chicago, working in journalism and advertising before relocating to New York City, where her career expanded into large-scale event and brand management. As part of a global shoe conglomerate, Wolverine World Wide, she managed 12 brands within an 8,000-square-foot showroom, overseeing more than 28 annual events and trade shows. In this role, she led every aspect of complex showroom buildouts, serving as the primary liaison for construction teams, while also collaborating with design, product, marketing, creative, and sales teams. Liz’s leadership extended to hiring, training, and building project-specific teams, as well as implementing and managing budgets, timelines, and strategic goals.
Today, Liz brings this unique blend of marketing expertise, construction fluency, and project management experience to every real estate transaction. With deep roots in West Michigan’s building industry and hands-on experience managing renovations and development projects, she approaches each home with a builder’s mindset — evaluating quality of construction, long-term value, and potential opportunities for improvement that others may overlook. From preparing a home for market to helping buyers confidently navigate inspections, renovations, or future build plans, Liz is known for her ability to anticipate challenges, manage moving parts, and position properties in a way that maximizes both lifestyle and investment value for her clients.
Outside of real estate, Liz can often be found cooking up something delicious in the kitchen and sharing it with those she loves (but please don’t ask her to bake), hosting Milton House pickleball events, crafting until the wee hours, and creating the kind of beautiful chaos that comes with all sorts of DIY projects (which her husband, Evan, graciously tolerates). She loves spending time outdoors with her family, planning themed adventure days and scavenger hunts for her two young sons — blending monster truck creativity, Pokemon problem-solving, and just the right amount of crafting mess into everyday life.
